Marketing Your House

The goal of marketing your home is to attract the attention of other agents and buyers. There are many ways to accomplish this. Listed below are the marketing services that I offer my sellers. While some of these options may not be useful for every house, they are available when needed.

Working with an established company in the local market guarantees buyers will know your home is for sale. And when they call or stop in our office, a member of our team of five full-time, hard working agents with years of local experience will be working to sell them your home. Our office ranks first or second (depending on the way you run the numbers and the dates you choose) in LaGrange County in total homes sold and sales volume.

We have a wonderful office manager and our office is open daily from 8:30 to 5:00 and on Saturdays from 8:30 to 12:00 (2:00 during the busy summer season). During office hours, there is always an agent in the office to talk to walk-in customers and answer phone calls. And all of our agents have their office voicemail forwarded to their cell phones when they are out of the office.

A flyer box with fliers will be placed in your yard.
Signs will be place in your yard and directionals placed to pull traffic from the main road.
Your listing, including a virtual tour, is put in our four county Multiple Listing Service Database which covers LaGrange, Noble, Steuben, and Dekalb Counties. There are over 300 agents who will be working to sell your home because we split the commission with the buyer's agent.
Our MLS is also searched by agents from Fort Wayne and Elkhart MLS who belong to both.
An Open House the first weekend you are listed and later as needed. While it is rare for a house to sell at an open house, it is worth the effort. Neighbors and the “just plain curious” are a good source of “word of mouth” advertising for both your home and your neighborhood. And when I have an open house at another listing, I will also be promoting your home.
